Alice Robson, Robson’s Card and Gift celebrates 40 years

August 1, 1983 marked an important milestone for Ken and Alice Robson, as they began their new adventure as owners of the former Callie's Card Corner in downtown Ellsworth. Together with the former owners Loren and Callie Reber and other previous owners, the store has been an anchor and a cornerstone of excellent customer service for 90 years.

 

On this episode, I sit down with Ellsworth Hallmark Gold-Crowne Store Co-Owner, Alice Robson to hear how she and her husband made the decision to purchase the store, the roadblocks and challenges they faced over 40 years, the reasons why they have been able to keep their doors open for 40 years, and the future plans for Robson's Card and Gift.
